• You realize survey projects by coordinating, controlling, executing, and adjusting to ensure that projects are executed in an efficient manner.
• You supervise and manage the project team onboard.
• You ensure that projects are executed according to companies procedures.
• You advise the project manager on personnel and equipment requirements.
• You supervise the equipment checks, calibrations, and all survey operations, ensuring that the work is carried out to the required technical specification.
• Liaison between vessel crew, project personnel, and other persons involved in data acquisition.
• You advise the project manager on the progress of the project, the quality of the data, and all QHSE matters.
• You undertake workplace inspections and coordinate toolbox meetings.
• You record extra work requirements and advise the Project Manager accordingly.
• You coordinate and document daily meetings and QHSE safety meetings.
• Liaison with the client representative.
• You monitor working methods and suggest improvements where applicable.
• You produce and distribute Daily Progress Reports.
You obtained a bachelor or master degree related to hydrographic surveying, geophysics, geology,... or equivalent by experience.
You have two years of relevant experience.
You possess good English skills, both spoken and written.
You have experience with survey techniques and software.
You are a team player and a good communicator.
You pay attention to detail, quality and safety.
