IT Support Officer
As an IT Support Officer at GEOxyz, you will be part of a dynamic and growing IT team that plays a key role in developing a forward-looking, high-performance and secure data environment. Together, we support more than 700 staff onshore and offshore.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Providing support for first- and second-line IT incidents, including Windows, Office 365, domain management, workstations, storage, security and network issues
Managing IT equipment, including asset management, orders and repairs
Being responsible for operational and day-to-day tasks in the data center
Providing IT support for our offices, boats and drones, with occasional travel to project sites
Monitoring security challenges and contributing to solutions (including those relating to NIS2 and ISO27001)
Keeping IT documentation up to date.
Providing support and training in the (secure) use of hardware and software (e.g. O365)
You will play an active role in developing and modernizing our internal IT environment and learn a great deal about topics such as networking, security and the maritime sector. You will work in a team that is constantly seeking innovative solutions and approaches, collaborating closely with experienced professionals. We are looking for team members who are keen to learn and who do not shy away from technical challenges.
What do we expect from you?
You have completed a degree in computer science or have relevant experience
You speak and write Dutch and English fluently
You have experience in managing Windows and Office 365 environments, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networks.
Knowledge of and an interest in AI, security, SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform are a major plus
Knowledge of and an interest in Linux, databases and programming (PHP, Ruby on Rails, PowerShell, Bash, etc.) offer numerous opportunities for career progression
You are keen to learn, work independently but are also a team player with good communication skills.
