As Innovation Engineer your focus will be on organizing & executing all kinds of innovation projects and offering support to operational departments to focus on the innovative approach for the execution of our survey projects.
Your will contribute to the GEOxyz 2.0 Roadmap which include, but is not limited to:
Remote processing for offshore vessels (processors off the vessels)
Using of USV’s, AUV’s, UAV’s on projects
Automation in dataprocessing through scripting / AI solutions (smart data)
Connectivity between vessels / shore
Developing new activities & services linked to developing market
Sensor integration in USV
As Innovation Engineer your tasks will consist of:
Preparing, executing and reporting on innovation projects.
Writing procedures and test plans.
Executing (survey) technical tasks.
Contacting and follow-up with partners (subcontractors/providers) and field teams.
Setting-up proof of concepts to evaluate innovative ideas within GEOxyz 2.0 Roadmap.
You will report to the program manager.
You have obtained a master's degree in engineering, (geo)physics, hydrography or similar.
You have high interest in innovative projects in marine & offshore environment
You have 3 years experience in engineering or survey role
Experience with python is a plus
You have excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
You have high communication and organizing skills.
You work structured and have good admin skills.
You can work fluently with Microsoft 365.
