In search of a Geotech Lab Technician
As Geotech Lab Technician your focus will be on preparing, testing and analyzing soil and rock samples to support our geotechnical and offshore site investigation projects. You will be part of a motivated team that ensures high-quality results for our clients and contributes to the success of challenging marine and offshore projects.
As Geotech Lab Technician your tasks will consist of:
Receiving, preparing and classifying soil and/or rock samples
Performing geotechnical laboratory tests (index testing, strength testing, compressibility, etc.)
Assisting with the processing of field samples and documentation
Ensuring quality, accuracy and traceability of results
Supporting geotechnical engineers with reporting and interpretation
Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with HSE standards
What do we expect from you?
You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in geology, geotechnics, earth sciences or similar (or equivalent technical experience)
You have a strong interest in geotechnical laboratory testing and analysis
Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus
You are accurate, well-organized and have a hands-on mentality
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
You work structured and have good administrative skills
You can work fluently with Microsoft 365
