In search of a Chief Surveyor (Offshore)
The Chief Surveyor plays a central role within our survey department, focusing on the supervision and maintenance of the highest survey standards in offshore environments.
You will have a balanced mix of fieldwork and office-based duties (70% officework/30% fieldwork)
You deliver comprehensive support/training to Party Chiefs and Online Surveyors.
You provide ongoing guidance and supervision to survey team members in offshore operations.
You oversee the planning and execution of offshore survey mobilizations.
You coordinate equipment setup and make sure the team is strategically equipped for maximum effectiveness.
You collaborate with other departments to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
You ensure that all surveying operations adhere to industry best practices and comply with QHSSE policies and procedures.
You provide technical support to survey teams.
You assist with resolving complex challenges and troubleshooting.
You optimize and standardize vessel setups and configurations.
You maintain acurrate and up-to-date documentation related to survey operations.
You shore the latest information, guidelines and resources with the survey team.
You share valuable insights and stay informed about the latest developments.
You provide suggestions for process improvements and technological advancements to enhance our surveying capabilities.
What do we expect from you?
You have 10 years of survey experience and you spent a couple years on board.
You obtained a degree in a survey related field.
You speak and write fluently English.
You can work well in a team.
